Terms and Conditions

LAST UPDATED: AUGUST 21, 2026

These terms govern the use of mastertulum.com and the contracting of services from "El Máster Tulum Mantenimiento", a brand operated by Mycelium Design and Construction, S. de R.L. de C.V., tax ID (RFC) MDC231117NR0. By using the site or submitting a request, you accept them. The Spanish version is the legally governing one.

1. Services

We provide residential maintenance services in Tulum, Quintana Roo: garden care, pool care, at-home car washing and maintenance or repair work quoted per job.

Coverage depends on our service area and calendar availability. We reserve the right to decline a request when the property falls outside our area, access conditions are unsafe, or the scope exceeds our operational capacity.

2. Requests made on this site

The form on this site creates a service request — not a contract and not a confirmed booking. No charge is made when you submit it.

Our team will contact you to confirm availability, scope and price. The service is contracted only when both parties expressly confirm it and, where applicable, the agreed payment is made.

3. Plans and pricing

Published prices are in Mexican pesos (MXN), cover one month of service and include taxes unless stated otherwise.

The base garden plan covers areas of up to 40 m². Properties with a larger garden, an additional pool, a jacuzzi or extra vehicles are quoted as add-on services.

We may update prices at any time. Changes do not affect services already confirmed and paid for; clients on an active plan will be given at least 30 calendar days notice.

4. Visits, schedule and access

Visits are scheduled within the agreed time slot. The exact hour may vary due to traffic, weather or the length of the previous visit.

The client is responsible for providing access to the property and to the water and electricity required for the service. If access is not possible on arrival, the visit is considered performed and is deducted from the plan.

We may suspend or reschedule visits due to heavy rain, hurricanes, utility outages or other force majeure. In those cases the visit is made up at no cost.

5. Cancellations and changes

You may cancel or reschedule a visit free of charge up to 6 hours before the scheduled time, by notifying us on WhatsApp or by email.

Cancellations or changes with less than 6 hours notice are charged: on monthly plans the visit is deducted as used, and for one-off services the full price of the service is charged.

Monthly plans may be discontinued with at least 15 calendar days notice before the next billing period. The current month is non-refundable.

6. Payment and invoicing

While online payment is not enabled, payment is arranged directly with our team by bank transfer or by the method indicated when your service is confirmed. We never request card details over WhatsApp, email or phone.

We issue a Mexican digital tax receipt (CFDI) for each service on request, with the client’s complete tax details.

7. Scope and liability

We provide the service with trained, insured staff and to professional standards. We are liable for direct damage attributable to our operation and reported to us within 48 hours of the visit.

We are not liable for: pre-existing defects; deterioration of plants, equipment or surfaces already damaged, diseased or poorly maintained; failures of pumps, filters or installations due to age or hidden defects; or damage resulting from the client’s express instructions given against our technical recommendation.

Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount paid by the client for the month in which the event occurred.

8. Client obligations

  • Provide truthful information about the property, its installations and its condition.
  • Keep pets secured during the visit.
  • Report known hazards: exposed electrical installations, delicate equipment, restricted areas.
  • Treat our staff with respect. We reserve the right to end the service in situations of risk or disrespect towards the team.

9. Intellectual property

The contents of this site — text, photographs, video, icons, logos and design — belong to Mycelium Design and Construction, S. de R.L. de C.V. or are used under licence. They may not be reproduced or used without prior written authorisation.

10. Personal data

The processing of your personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, available on this site.

11. Changes

We may update these terms at any time. The version in force is the one published on this page, with the last-updated date shown at the top.

12. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Mexican States. For any dispute, the parties submit to the competent courts of Tulum, Quintana Roo, waiving any other jurisdiction that might apply.
